The Great Plains PL5700 features new 5000 Series Row Units, new 5000 Series Air-Pro® Meters, and a positive air system that sets it apart from the competition by providing more accuracy with fewer headaches than vacuum planters. Designed on a rugged and maneuverable front-fold, telescoping-tongue design, the PL5700 handles exceptionally well in the field and on the road. Available in 12- and 16-row configurations with bulk-fill or row-unit hoppers and an assortment of drives, fertilizer, and attachment options.

New Hybrid Tillage
The new Velocity is a hybrid tillage implement, designed to bury more residue than a true vertical tillage tool like the Turbo-Max®, but with shallow-concavity SpeedBlades™ on 7½" spacings. The Velocity runs faster than a disk harrow, and is designed to out-cut and out-finish competitive low-concavity, high-speed disks in the vertical tillage market.
Designed with operator experience and profitability in mind, the new Great Plains PL5800 Planter delivers simplicity in operation and accuracy in planting. The PL5800 features a new 5000 Series Row Unit with an all-new Great Plains Air-Pro® Meter and seed delivery system to ensure precise singulation and planting accuracy, and excellent seed-to-soil contact. This model is offered with the optional Individual Row Control (IRC Electric Drive) to maximize yield potential and cut seed costs.
A hybrid in a class all its own
In a class all its own, the new Great Plains Ultra-Disk is a hybrid between a European high-speed disk and a standard disk harrow, giving producers a tillage solution like never before. The exclusive Ultra-Disk design is set to endure heavy-residue field conditions with 24" blades and more clearance between gangs. Its parallel gangs enable soil to be worked from 2" to 5" deep for consistent, primary tillage at higher operating speeds than a conventional disk.
