12- & 16-Row Front-Fold Bulk & Hopper
The Great Plains PL5700 features new 5000 Series Row Units, new 5000 Series Air-Pro® Meters, and a positive air system that sets it apart from the competition by providing more accuracy with fewer headaches than vacuum planters. Designed on a rugged and maneuverable front-fold, telescoping-tongue design, the PL5700 handles exceptionally well in the field and on the road. Available in 12- and 16-row configurations with bulk-fill or row-unit hoppers and an assortment of drives, fertilizer, and attachment options.
New Implement Command™ Now Available
With 3-3/4" blade spacing and 0° to 6° adjustable gang angle, Turbo-Max provides aggressive ground leveling while sizing and anchoring residue.
New Hybrid Tillage
The new Velocity is a hybrid tillage implement, designed to bury more residue than a true vertical tillage tool like the Turbo-Max®, but with shallow-concavity SpeedBlades™ on 7½" spacings. The Velocity runs faster than a disk harrow, and is designed to out-cut and out-finish competitive low-concavity, high-speed disks in the vertical tillage market.
350-Bushel Air Drill Cart
With a new auger design and two 175-bushel tanks, the ADC2352 Air Cart is equipped to work hard, covering a lot of ground in one day. The auger has been repositioned to the driver’s side and has increased capacity, which enables the drill to be loaded faster. Its well-balanced design simplifies folding and unfolding. For added convenience, the two tanks allow operators to run fertilizer or seed through either tank simultaneously.
5 or 6 Furrows
The EO-100 Series plow offers high performance for on-land and in-furrow operations. Switching between the two operations is easy. The driver can control the mainframe hydraulically to move the plow to the desired position.
The Kverneland steel, heat treatments, and design allow this plow to excel even in the toughest conditions. The 120 x 200mm single box section frame is induction heat treated. In addition, the heavy-duty headstock provides the necessary strength to pull heavy loads while protecting the hoses and wires.
Great Plains is pleased to bring the Exacta TL GEOspread 3900 by Kverneland to the U.S. market. This weighing spreader includes integrated section control to provide crops with an efficient dose of nutrients with ease and accuracy. Featuring a 110-bushel-capacity hopper and a spread width of 39' 4" to 177' 2", the TL GEOspread produces an accurate, even spread, even in rugged terrain. The TL GEOspread is complete with precise and continuous weighing systems, automatic correction on slopes and shocks, and a speed-related dosing system that eliminates the need to calibrate.
6-Row Peanut Planter
To meet peanut producers’ needs for an accurate and versatile planter, Great Plains has developed a planter optimized for peanut planting. The new Yield-Pro® YP625A3PP Planter offers peanut producers specialized peanut discs designed to accurately meter all sizes of peanut varieties, while also having multiple seed discs that are easily changed to plant other crops, such as corn or soybeans.
With the same quality and innovation as other Great Plains planters, the PL5500 gives producers a simple, 8-row wing-fold planter with narrow-transport capabilities. A transport width of 9' 9" provides easy and safe maneuverability of the planter from field to field and only requires 115-drawbar horsepower (minimum) to pull, making it compatible with a wide range of tractors.
Designed with operator experience and profitability in mind, the new Great Plains PL5800 Planter delivers simplicity in operation and accuracy in planting. The PL5800 features a new 5000 Series Row Unit with an all-new Great Plains Air-Pro® Meter and seed delivery system to ensure precise singulation and planting accuracy, and excellent seed-to-soil contact. This model is offered with the optional Individual Row Control (IRC Electric Drive) to maximize yield potential and cut seed costs.
