Product Description

Taking Vertical Tillage "To the Max"

The introduction of Turbo-Max® brings true vertical tillage to new heights. The ability to provide unmatched seedbeds through more aggressive ground leveling and weed removal, enhanced residue sizing, and unsurpassed residue coverage while continuing to work in the vertical plane, makes Turbo-Max truly unique in the industry today.

Although most farmers have understood the benefits of true vertical tillage for several years now, they have continued to search for ways to address uneven fields caused by sprayer, combine, or grain cart tracks, and to reduce wind erosion through better residue coverage. Turbo-Max, with its 7-1/2" blade spacing and gang angles that adjust hydraulically from 0° to 6°, provides the answer to the concerns of today’s producers looking for all of the advantages of true vertical tillage in one piece of equipment. Turbo-Max is another vital part of Great Plains’ commitment to providing equipment that fulfills the customers' needs while remaining agronomically sound, providing the best environment to produce maximum yields.

Product Features

Customer Testimonials

From Wes Iles, Southern Ohio:

"Ready, set, go! You are ready to plant after one pass. Southern Ohio weeds are best controlled with tilled ground, and this tool is a real time saver. Dealer prep/delivery was excellent. It tilled level and made a great seed bed. GREAT TOOL!"

From Eric D., Southern New Jersey:

"We are a sibling trio of 7th generation farmers in Southern NJ. My brother Matthew, sister Melissa and myself have picked up the reigns where Grandpop left off, and together we operate our 500 acre family farm. A lot has changed on our farm over the last 125 years, especially the equipment. Our grandfather Joe told us many stories of days gone by with horse drawn corn cultivators and two-cylinder John Deere tractors. I will recollect to my son the days of the moldboard plow and cut harrow.

From Corey H., Northern Iowa:

"We just got a 2014 Turbo-Max last week. We have been using it ahead of the corn planter and absolutely love it! Makes a smooth seedbed to plant into."
