True vertical tillage has become the standard for yield-boosting seedbed preparation. Turbo-Max® offers the benefits of spring vertical tillage with more residue-managing characteristics for the fall. Turbo-Max has two coulter gangs with 7½" spacing between each blade. The rear gangs offset the front gangs, splitting blade spacing to 3¾" for improved sizing of residue for one-pass perfection. Gang angles on the Turbo-Max adjust hydraulically on-the-go from 0° to 6°, offering greater flexibility to match field conditions.
Compatibility At Its Finest
Reap the benefits of both cover crops and true vertical tillage with the new Turbo-Seeder™ Attachment for Turbo-Max®!
Turbo-Seeder offers a cost effective, highly productive method for seeding cover crops with a vertical tillage finish tool. With Turbo-Seeder, you can simultaneously till your soil, size residue, and plant cover crops in one pass, while also reducing labor, fuel, and maintenance cost of conventional drills.
The Lister Cultivator is built in the spirit of other Great Plains equipment with a focus on innovation, functionality, and toughness.
The LC40 Lister Cultivator combines a stack-fold toolbar with versatile parallel linkage row units. The new LC25 utilizes the same row units in a narrower, non-folding frame. The parallel linkage and depth band coulters allow for precise depth gauging on individual rows. The row units can be configured to 30", 36", 38", and 40" row spacings. Users can configure it as a lister or turn it into a row-crop cultivator with rear sweeps.
Maximum Vertical Tillage
If you are looking for an aggressive primary tillage tool that doesn’t leave your fields as rough or require tilling as deep as a traditional disc ripper, check out the latest addition to Great Plains’ award-winning tillage line: the Max-Chisel™.
The innovative Great Plains Short Disk™ combines European-style parallel gangs with the demands of rugged North American terrain to provide a consistent, high-speed primary tillage tool. While traditional short disks utilize 18-20" diameter disc blades, the aggressive Short Disk is designed to endure high-residue field conditions with 24" diameter discs to cut the ground up to 7" deep, maximizing trash flow and leaving a smooth finish on both the top and bottom.
The Great Plains Ultra-Chisel™ brings a new definition to the "chisel plow". Its unique floating hitch design provides maximum ground-following capabilities to ensure constant working depth in the most adverse conditions. Combine this with 900-pound trip force shanks and the producer has unmatched soil-fracturing potential to a working depth of 8". The Ultra-Chisel, available in widths from 21' to 33', will bring even the largest fields down-to-size in a short amount of time.
10' End Wheel No-Till Compact Drill
From food plots to food production, the Great Plains 10' End Wheel No-Till Drill (1006NT) is the ideal combination between the productivity of a large drill and the versatility of a compact one. This machine is perfect for seeding into pasture renovations and foot plots, and has long been used by conservation groups like Pheasants Forever chapters, NRCS offices, and roadside construction outfits that need machines to rent out that are simple to operate, yet durable enough to be returned, ready to rent out again.
12' 3-Point Mounted Drill
The 1200 3-Point Drill is a 12' Mounted Min-Till Drill that, when combined with a CPH (Center-Pivot-Hitch), turns into a formidable no-till machine. The 1200 has all the same features as the 1500 and 2000 models and is available with tough 00-Series Openers.
1206NT No-Till Drill
The new 1206NT builds off the success of its predecessor, the 1205NT. The 1206 has been upgraded with 06 Series Openers, as well as an optional native grass seed box, making it even more versatile. Now producers can seed up to three different seeds at different rates—all at the same time.
13' End Wheel Min-Till Drills
Providing big-drill performance in a smaller machine, the Great Plains 1300 End Wheel Drill is clearly the best built end wheel drill on the market. Heavy-duty openers feature hydraulically adjusted down pressure for consistent seed placement along the full width of the unit.
